Zhanetta holds the position of a Laboratory Engineer at the Institute of Translational Proteomics, specializing in preparation of proteomics samples upstream to mass spectromerical analysis.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in “Molecular Life Science” at the Universität Lübeck (Germany) with a focus on biochemistry and biological chemistry. Her thesis work at the Institute of Physiology explored the role of Hypoxia Inducible Factor (HIF) in cancer cells.
For her Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Zhanetta moved on to the Universität Greifswald (Germany), where she in the research group of Professor U. Völker at the Department of Functional Genomics worked on Design and Construction of a Mutant Library of B.subtillis and Investigation of the key Stress-Proteins in Clp-Protase dependent Proteolysis.
